Camden Athletic Club look set to have another big year, with the local club getting ready for an exciting upcoming 2018/2019 season.

The popular club was formed in 1931 by the Rev. Keith Brodie, where the competition first began at the Onslow Park Showground in Camden. The club colours remain the traditional navy and sky blue vertical stripes. Last season, they had 700 registered athletes and it remained the 5th largest club in the State.

Camden Athletic Club competes on Friday nights in a family friendly environment at it’s original home of Onslow Park – Camden Showground.  With their competition nights held on Fridays, the first events start at 5:30pm. Athletes from as young as 4 and as mature as 76 can not only compete in all throwing, jumping and running events, but they can also enjoy meeting up with new and old friends over the course of the evening.

The club has had much success with many athletes pursuing their dreams and competing from zone through to international levels. They encourage members of the local community to join and participate in this great group of events.
