Tanya Davies MP, Member for Mulgoa, would like to thank the IPC for rejecting CMCT’s cemetery application for Wallacia Golf Club. She said from the beginning of the fight that the CMCT’s proposal would destroy the local character and social infrastructure of the Wallacia village.

She congratulates the local residents and the Wallacia Progress Association for their commitment and unwavering determination to stop the cemetery proposal.

This is the end of the first stage in the process. Tanya is working with all stakeholders to ensure they get a final outcome that will preserve the site in perpetuity for the people of Wallacia.

She will continue fighting for the Wallacia community to ensure they protect this land.
