Brooks Tavern at Jordan Springs is due to begin construction next month, in October 2021. It is anticipated to take 10 and a half months to build, with completion at the end of August 2022.

The multi-million-dollar hotel will have a bar, dining and cocktail areas all providing a comfortable and modern interior. It will feature a beer range which will include craft offerings, alfresco dining, and a beer garden, alongside an outdoor playground for children.

“Brooks at Jordan Springs has been designed to provide the community with a venue full of atmosphere and always open and welcoming! It will be a hotel where everyone will be welcome – locals, families, friends and we will provide an offering where they will always enjoy themselves” said Arthur Laundy of Laundy Hotel Group.

“The hotel will be a modern yet warm atmosphere that has a great food and drink offering, to ensure we provide the opportunity to create many memories. Jordan Springs is a young, vibrant town that is calling out for a high-quality hotel, and we know there are a lot of young families in the area” Arthur continued.

There will be a number of job opportunities for the local community. This will include bar staff, front of house, kitchen staff, management, marketing, and functions staff.

“Jordan Springs boasts a beautiful water side location. The term “Brook” meaning small stream, with its local history piqued our interest. ‘In 1805, Captain John Houston was granted 500 acres of land in what is now Jordan Springs. A land swap around 1820 saw William Faithful take ownership. Faithful had previously purchased 700 acres from Richard Brooks in 1818’. Thus, “Brooks Tavern” became a very appropriate name” explained Arthur.

“We truly believe that we will provide a venue that will bring people together, they will come for a drink, a coffee and they will stay for a meal. It is important to us to be a part of this community and we are really looking forward to welcoming and meeting everyone” he ended.

Brooks Tavern will be located at 3989 Lakeside Parade, Jordan Springs. It will be open from 10:00am, 7 days a week.
