I think August saw its biggest change in Luddenham ever, with the sod turning for the final stage of The Northern Road upgrade at Luddenham. This will see The Northern Road divert to the eastern side of Luddenham Village. Local Federal and State MP’s, Peter Sidgreaves MP, Angus Taylor MP, Melissa McIntosh MP and Tanya Davies MP were all on hand to signal the start of the work on the final stage of the Northern Road upgrades.

There’s so much happening now between Oran Park and Penrith and on a sad note we saw another four houses demolished to make way for the new The Northern Road Elizabeth Drive intersection. Luddenham has now lost lots of homes to the Airport and Roads.

For those interested in the latest news regarding the airport, FOWSA will host a community drop-in information session on Saturday 7th September for members of the community to learn more about the airport development and to talk with FOWSA members. No registration is required. Details of the session are Saturday 7 September – 10:00am to 1:00pm at Campbelltown RSL.
