Local businesses were recognised for their great service and achievements in last month’s 2018 Camden Wollondilly Local Business Awards and we were lucky to have two of them in our very own backyard!

Extract Espresso in Gregory Hills were ecstatic to receive their award in the Outstanding Café category, whilst their neighbours Grima Bros Wholesale Produce took out two awards, the best in the Fruit and Vegetable Shop category and the major award on the night for the title of Camden Business of the Year. A huge accomplishment given that they have only been open for just over one year.

Both Gregory Hills businesses have proven to be ever so popular with our local communities and are always bursting at the seam with customers.

Extract Espresso owner Celestino (Tino) Pangallo was overwhelmed and so grateful for this amazing acknowledgement and very proud of his team.

For anyone who has visited this welcoming café, tasted his amazing Campos coffee or experienced his friendly staff, they can understand why his award is now sitting front and centre for all to see.

The Local Business Awards is an annual event that acknowledges great businesses that go above and beyond offering the best services, products and all-round experiences. Businesses first need to be nominated, then progress into the final stages through a vigorous outsourced judging process, where the winners are announced at a presentation gala.

We would like to congratulate the staff of Extract Expresso and Grima Bros Wholesale Produce for winning and we are so proud to have you as our own.

Congratulations also to all the other winners and finalists in the 2018 Camden Wollondilly Local Business Awards.
