Glenmore Park Basketball Club are preparing for a big year ahead, with the new season tip-off starting Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th May. This season, 20 teams ranging from the Under 10’s to the Under 18’s will compete in the Penrith and Districts Basketball Association Competition.

The local club, which has produced WNBL and Australian representative Tahlia Tupaea, tasted success last season with many of their teams leading their divisions or competing for the top spot.

“This season, I am most excited about seeing our teams improve and seeing the players develop their skills on and off the court. And, of course, seeing the new players develop skills taught by our great coaches” said Jaidyn Fisher – President of Glenmore Park Basketball Club.

Community spirit has been amazing with many volunteers giving up their valuable time to support the club. They welcome new coaches and managers who are interested in joining their ranks as well.

“If you’re looking to sign your child up to this fantastic sport, Glenmore Park Basketball is definitely the place to go” added Jaidyn.
