Team Noble Travels, made up of local husband and wife Kevin and Kellie Noble, have just returned from the rally of a lifetime last month, driving in the S***box Rally from Perth to Sydney, whilst raising over $8,000 for charity.

The S***box Rally started in Perth and travelled to Sydney via Uluru, covering over an amazing 5,000kms in just 10 days. This year was a special one as it marked the 10th Anniversary of the Rally, making it a 10-day event instead of 7 days.

Kevin and Kellie were lucky to take a 1999 Holden VT Commodore along as their rally car and it was donated to them. The rules of the rally include that the car must be roadworthy and not be worth more than $1,000. This adds to the whole experience of this amazing event.

“We did this rally in honour of my Dad, Terry Atkins, who was a fairly well-known figure around the Warragamba community. Team Noble Travels raised $8,101 from both sponsorship and donations. Overall, this rally raised over $2.6 million for the Cancer Council” told Kellie to the Mulgoa Valley Gazette.

So, what was the highlight for the Noble’s during the epic 5,000km journey? “A highlight from the S***box Rally was visiting Uluru and attending the Field of Light dinner there. It was a fantastic experience. Also, meeting and making some new lifelong friends who all have their personal reasons to do the rally. The rally is a major fundraiser for the Cancer Council”.

“This was our first rally and definitely won’t be our last! We were honoured to be able to participate for such a great cause. We would like to thank all the sponsors and those that donated for supporting us” Kellie ended.
